Project Description

We hope you are enjoying the advent of winter! At the lodge, our team is working hard setting decorations, lights, creating menus, and preparing for the upcoming holiday season.

Winter has finally set in here, which means our cross-country ski trails will be track-set after the next large snowfall, but Moraine Lake road is already in decent condition. Our ice rink is nearing completion, but a warm fall slowed us down slightly. We will certainly have it lit-up, and freshly groomed in time for Christmas! Please remember to stop by the front desk if you would like to borrow a set of skates, hockey sticks, or snow shoes!

Due to popularity, we will be maintaining an additional firepit this winter, with complementary access to wood, and the Creekside Café is now fully stocked with smore, hot chocolate, and marshmallow packages to ensure a classic Canadian winter!

Over the holidays, our executive Chef Collin will be creating a special three-course tasting menu, a pre-cooked Christmas meal package to enjoy in the comfort of your cabin, and we will be open full-service in the lounge and main dining room from 2pm – 10pm daily. While not required, reservations are strongly suggested. The café will continue to have a variety of grab and go breakfast and lunch items available.

Specifically, during the holiday season, we are excited to host and share the following complimentary events with you and your family:
