There’s lots of incredible snowshoeing terrain around Banff and Lake Louise with rental options for adventuring on your own or guided tours. Avalanche risk can be a serious consideration so if you’re unsure, please don’t go! Many of the Winter Walks we mention in our other post, can also be snowshoed, but you can also get just a little further.
If you’re out with the family, consider some of the groomed and well marked trails near Lake Louise and the Great Divide!
